Hi there, I was wondering if you could help me. I am looking for a bentwood bench seat. Would you have any idea where I could get one from or where I should start looking or even who I could get in touch with who may be able to help me?

Well done with the chairs. To find some more, you might try eBay, as suggested above. They usually have some listed. Good luck.

Can you tell me where I could find a listing of Thonet Chairs. I inherited 4 beautiful Thonets whiich have Rattan seats and Rattan backrests. I have searched to try and find more of the same without luck. Incidentally I took all 4 chairs down to basics, repaired some wood damage, taught myself to recain, did all 8 pieces and reassembled. They look fatastic! David Gibson 75 years old (retired auto engineer)

Sorry greg, I wouldn't know. I'd get in touch with an antique dealer, or search for "thonet chairs" on eBay (where there are a lot for sale, including old ones). Good luck.

i found a two chairs at my grand mother's house it had thonet below that name reads wien 17th street new york.. it has a pattern on the seat. can you tell me how old it might be and what the are worth. thanks greg
