They deliberately make you wait as long as possible. The Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship, as I know from experience, don't (or didn't) even let you phone in to speak to anyone. And their waiting rooms (always full) don't have public toilets. At least that was the case when I last visited Australia House, London, and their office in Dandenong, Australia. Border and Immigration Agencies are the worst offenders. They deliberately make you wait as long as possible. I am on hold with them since 9 a.m the opening time and still i am in queue when I am writing this post... it is more than 5 hours hearing the aotometed message apppologising for the delay stating they will transfer to the next available agent... at a point I actiually cried as I dont know what to do as you just cant do anything apart from holding it... I am so frustreted and angry... I realy dont know wat to do???? They are saying my call will be answered shortly... But I dont know when???
